Biography

Hello, my name is Femke Wittemans, and I am excited to share a little bit about myself. I was born on a chilly Saturday evening on the 29th of February, 1992 at precisely 19:45. My birthplace is the beautiful city of Haarlem, located in the Netherlands. Being born in the Netherlands, I hold Dutch nationality, something that I am incredibly proud of.

I identify as gender-neutral and prefer the pronouns 'They' and 'Them'. This is an integral part of who I am, and I appreciate it when people respect and acknowledge my identity.

As for my family, I am the child of Caroline and Bernard Wittemans. My mother, Caroline, was a Molenaar before her marriage. Both my parents have played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. Their unwavering love, support, and guidance have been my pillars of strength throughout my life.

Being born in Haarlem, a city known for its rich history and culture, has had a significant impact on my life. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the city's beautiful architecture, the cobblestone streets, and the numerous museums that are a testament to its rich past. This city, with its unique blend of history and modernity, has shaped my perspective and understanding of the world.

My Dutch nationality is something I hold dear to my heart. The Netherlands, known for its tulips, windmills, and wooden shoes, is a country that values freedom, tolerance, and equality. These values are deeply ingrained in me and have shaped my worldview. I am proud to be a part of a nation that has been at the forefront of many progressive movements and has a rich history of artistic, scientific, and political contributions to the world.

I identify as gender-neutral, and I use the pronouns 'They' and 'Them'. This is a crucial aspect of my identity that I have come to embrace over the years. I believe that gender is a spectrum, and it is essential to respect and acknowledge everyone's self-identified gender identities. This understanding of my own identity has allowed me to empathize with others who may also feel marginalized due to their gender identity and has made me a staunch advocate for gender equality.

My parents, Caroline and Bernard, have been my pillars of strength. Despite having no siblings, I never felt alone thanks to their constant love and support. My mother, Caroline, is a woman of strength and resilience, and she has always been my role model. She taught me the importance of kindness, compassion, and hard work. My father, Bernard, is a man of wisdom and patience. He has always encouraged me to pursue my passions and to stand up for what I believe in.

In conclusion, my journey so far has been shaped by my birthplace, my Dutch nationality, my gender-neutral identity, and the love and support of my parents. Each of these aspects has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. As I continue on my journey, I carry with me the lessons I have learned, the values I hold dear, and the love and support of my family. I am Femke Wittemans, and I am proud of who I am and where I come from.
